Take an hour trip outside of the city with us and enjoy a day of discovering and capturing the “art in nature” at the Storm King Art Center!
Participating in the Scott Kelby's WorldWide Photowalk, sponsored by Canon, the Collective is coolin' it up in Hudson Valley next Saturday, catching winds and shooting pics with the tribe. Breathe some fresh air with us as we walk amidst the outdoor sculptures and fall vibes; the beautifully landscaped grounds of this outdoor sculpture museum are prime for outdoor, natural lighting. With more than 100 pieces of artwork tucked amidst the fields, hills and woodlands of the park, there will be various elements of art in nature to experience and discuss.
Photo-ops are abound so bring your camera: point-and-shoot, smartphone, or DSLR - you name it. For those interested in the art of photography, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and ask about the fundamentals - general mechanics, shooting in natural light, photo composition.
We’ll meet up at 11:30am and set out for the sights at noon.
